FreeState Legal Project lifts its voice in solidarity with communities of color protesting the deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner. A legal advocacy nonprofit dedicated to serving low income LGBTQ Marylanders, our organization understands all too well the urgent intersections of marginalization and oppression. We continue to support systemic measures that curb excessive police force, racism, and violence, and work towards the day that all communities can have unshakeable faith in our judicial system.
