Maryland’s Primary Election is coming up on June 26th. The deadline to register to vote, or change your voter registration before the primary, is June 5th.

Who can register to vote? A U.S. citizen, Maryland resident, and those who will be at least 18 by November 6, 2018-the midterm general election. For more information, please see the Voter Registration Introduction.

You can use the Maryland Board of Elections online system or mail a print copy the Voter Registration Application to the State Board of Elections. This process works for first-time voters and people looking to change their political party affiliation. You can also register to vote by completing an application at an MVA, or when applying for/renewing your license.
