1 in 5 LGBTQ adults are NOT registered to vote.

Just 13% of registered LGBTQ voters are Black.

Find Your Polling Location


Who can register to vote? A U.S. citizen, Maryland resident, and those who will be at least 18 by Election Day. For more information, please see the Voter Registration Introduction.

You can use the Maryland Board of Elections online system or mail a print copy the Voter Registration Application to the State Board of Elections. This process works for first-time voters and people looking to change their political party affiliation. You can also register to vote by completing an application at an MVA, or when applying for/renewing your license or identification card.
