Transgender people need to know that there are people in this world that do and will support them. They need to have even one person who says, "I accept you for who you are and you are not alone."

FreeState Legal Project is proud to share another interview from the Story of My Name Project. The Story of My Name Project is a collection of stories from transgender and/or gender non-conforming individuals about what their preferred name means to them. This project is an opportunity to celebrate their stories and lives, and to share why it is important to have a name that affirms your gender identity.
