Statewide Listening Tour

Make Your Voice Count

Audience

FreeState Legal and Equality Maryland are merging to become a comprehensive statewide civil rights organization that serves LGBTQ Marylanders through litigation, policy advocacy, community outreach, and public education. To ensure a successful merger, we need to hear your voice. For the next few months, we are going on a statewide listening tour to ensure that our merged organization’s vision, mission and work reflects your needs. At the end of our tour, we’ll share what we’ve learned with you, and use the information to guide our work in the coming years.

Want to make sure you’re heard? See below for ways you can get involved!

Community Listening Sessions

These are gatherings held across the state with our regional partners where community members can come together and share ideas. This is an opportunity for LGBTQ individuals and allies to give us feedback on our work, and help identify urgent issues in their community. Don’t see your community listed?
