Allie Lloyd

Allie Lloyd (She/her) is the research coordinator at FreeState Justice. As a Maryland native, she is passionate about working with communities across the state to generate data that represents the authentic voices of LGBTQIA+ Marylanders. Prior to becoming the research coordinator at FreeState, she worked as the organization’s Youth Policy Fellow, primarily focusing on initiatives that helped promote the rights of young LGBTQIA+ Marylanders in and out of schools.

When Allie is not working at FSJ, she is pursuing her PhD in Community Psychology at UMBC. There, she researches the intersection of LGBTQIA+ identity, adolescent development, policy, and the legal system. After obtaining her degree, she hopes to continue conducting community engaged research in Baltimore City.

In her free time she enjoys attending art installations across Baltimore, meeting new people to play darts with, and unpacking the latest celebrity gossip with her close friends.
