Matt Dare is a staff attorney who focuses on family law matters.

Matt attended the Washington and Lee University School of Law, after which he clerked for the Honorable Lynne A. Battaglia, a senior judge on the Maryland Court of Appeals (now called the Supreme Court of Maryland). Matt previously worked for eleven years as a biologist with the United States Forest Service, in the Department of Agriculture, during which he worked on the conservation of aquatic species in Idaho and Colorado.

When not in the office, Matt enjoys being outside – especially in quiet places, planning his dream vacation to the Chernobyl exclusion zone, and having adventures with his two daughters.
